To our baseball community,
In response to Governor Sisolak’s press conference on May 26, 2020, we are excited to announce that we are able to open back up Vegas Valley Batter’s Box to the public on Friday, May 29th. We understand this shutdown has been extremely hard on everyone and hope that we can aide in making the valley’s baseball and softball communities get back to some sort of normalcy.
Our facility has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized by Blue Bird Carpet & Janitorial with PreventX 24/7 Antimicorobial Coating. Literature about this coating is posted on the bulletin board in the facility. The Batter’s Box will continue to be sanitized on a regular basis to provide the safest environment possible.
At this time we are taking online reservations at VVBATTERSBOX.COM under the BATTER UP! RESERVATIONS tab on the right of the main page. You may also reserve a cage by calling 702-778-3634. Walk-ins are not recommended at this time.
IF YOU ARE SICK, PLEASE STAY HOME. Wash your hands often, before entering a cage, and after leaving one. We have hand sanitizer in multiple areas throughout the facility.
To limit the number of people in the facility at one time we ask that if at all possible, parents and non-participants (ie. siblings) not enter the building unless necessary. If you have a scheduled time, please remain outside or in your vehicle until the time of your reservation.
Please adhere to social distancing guidelines and allow 6 feet of separation. X’s have been marked 6 feet apart for those waiting to hit.
For the time being we ask that you limit all cage reservations to no more than 6 participants in a cage during a session not including the coach
• Team A (8-12 players) has a reservation from 6p-7p in cage 4. Please split the team into 2 groups and have one group hit from 6p-6:30p and then the second group hit from 6:30p-7p.
• Team A (8-12 players) has a reservation from 6p-7p in cages 4 & 5. Please separate the team into two groups, one for each cage.
We also ask that all participants only bring in essential items, and not their whole bat bag, for their time in the cages. (ie. Glove, bat, helmet, water bottle)
For any athletes that have lessons with Danica Mercado, Bill Madlock, or Denise Morris (in cages 1-3) please enter through the Batter’s Box door and then into the new designated waiting area in the Vegas Valley Baseball office until your respective instructor comes to get you for your scheduled lesson.
If you have a lesson with Anthony Gallo, Greg Sheppard, Justen Grenier, or Shawna VandeBurgt (in cages 4-7) please enter the facility and find seating until your instructor comes to get you. Again, please do not enter the building until the time of your lesson.
Thank you for your assistance and welcome back!!
